About Me

Hello and welcome! I’m Gina, a woman in her 30s from London who just loves to travel. I quit my 9-5 two years ago and have spent most of that time travelling the world.

I love all styles of travel from solo travelling to travel with friends and going on group tours. They are all fun in their own ways and I’d love to share of my experiences and tips for all but especially for solo travelling.

Although I have visited some of the most popular destinations, I prefer to travel and experience places that are considered ‘off the beaten path’ but have incredible things to see and culture to learn from. From city itineraries to mountainous hiking trails I hope this can be a useful space to help you plan for your next trip!

Some facts about me:

• I’m very tall! 6ft/182cm is my actual height which in most parts of the world is extremely tall for a woman and everyone always likes to remind me!

• My first ever solo trip was in 2018 and I visited Slovenia and Croatia

• I have done a mix of fast and very slow travel and was lucky enough to spend almost 5 months in Sri Lanka.

• My most recent solo trip was the Caucuasus region; Azerbaijan, Georgia & Armenia and then I headed to Türkiye.

• My next solo trip to to Nepal, (India my 3rd time there) and then I’m going on a group tour to Pakistan :)
